User Login and Authentication Process for Accessing the AuthX User Portal

Overview

After activating their account through the enrollment email, users can seamlessly access their account via the AuthX User Portal.

Login Process

There are two ways to login to the AuthX portal.

1. By providing your Organization URL.

2. By providing your Login Mail ID.

Steps:

  1. Open the AuthX User Portal with the URL in your browser
    1. For Organization URL: Provide your Organization's custom domain name. Click Continue and move to Step 2.
    2. For Login Mail ID: If you forgot the organization name or wish to login via email address, click on Don't Remember Your Organization URL? The page redirects you to provide your email address. Provide your email address and click Continue to proceed to Step 3.
  2. Provide your Email Address and click Continue.
  3. Provide your Password and click Login
  4. Authenticate your login session.
    1. The portal requires you to authenticate as assigned by your Admin. 
    2. In case your Admin has not assigned any authentication process, the portal requests for Push authentication by default. If the user wishes to try other ways to login, click Try another way to sign in
    3. If the user chooses to Try another way to sign in, then the user will be displayed with all the authentication that they have access to.
  5. Upon successful login, the AuthX dashboard is displayed with the Applications page set as the default view.


FAQ

Why am I unable to login to the User portal?

If you can't log in, ensure your credentials are correct, your account is active, and you have the necessary permissions to access the user portal. If the issue persists, contact your Admin for assistance.

Error Messages for unable to login - Failed Conditions

  • Policy Denied: You are not part of an authorized group: If a user's group membership condition fails (based on group inclusion/exclusion).

  • Policy Denied: You are not included in the authorized users: If the user's inclusion/exclusion in the user list fails.

  • Policy Denied: Access from your network is not allowed: If the network condition fails (due to allowed/denied network access).

  • Policy Denied: You are not using an authorized operating system: If the user's operating system is not authorized.

  • Policy Denied: You are not using an authorized browser: If the user's browser does not meet the authorized policy.

  • Policy Denied: You are not from an authorized domain: If the user's domain is not authorized.

Error Messages for unable to login - Authentication Issues

  • Policy Denied: No additional authentication methods are available. Please contact your administrator: If no additional authentication factors are available for the required authentication level.

  • Fingerprint authentication is mandatory and has not been registered. Please contact your administrator: If the user has not registered a mandatory authentication factor (e.g., fingerprint).

  • If multiple conditions fail, the system will show the error message for the first condition that fails, following the order of the conditions.
