Release Date : January 31st 2026
New Features:
Bring Your Own Twilio Account
Organizations can now connect their own Twilio account for SMS and Call authentication services. This allows full control over international restrictions, usage, and associated costs.
Note:
If no custom Twilio account is configured, AuthX’s default Twilio account will continue to be used. Standard rates will apply, and SMS delivery will remain limited to countries supported by AuthX’s configuration—not the full Twilio coverage.
Customizable Welcome Message
Admins can now configure a custom welcome message that is sent the first time a user initiates SMS/Call authentication, explaining the service.
User-Managed SMS/Call Subscriptions
Users can now directly START or STOP SMS/Call notifications by replying to the organization’s Twilio phone number, enabling simple self-service subscription management.
Enhancements:
Entra Active Directory Integration
Updated Microsoft App ID for Entra ID Authentication for Directory Synchronization
The Microsoft App ID used for Microsoft Entra ID authentication has been updated from legacy URL certifyglobal.com to authx.com .
Impact:
All existing Active Directory (AD) subscriptions—including adding, deleting, or updating users and workstations—will stop functioning until administrators complete re-authentication.
Action Required:
All account administrators must re-authenticate to accept the new policy update.
After re-authentication, perform a full sync to restore AD subscription services.
Notifications will be sent to all impacted account administrators.
Increased Timeout for Email Passcode
The timeout duration for passcodes used in email-based authentication has been increased to 1 minute. This update enhances user experience by providing sufficient time to complete the verification process.
Confirm Password Field Added
A “Confirm Password” field has been added to the SSPR portal’s Change Password screen to reduce errors and improve password accuracy during resets.
Default AuthX SMS Number Changed
The SMS/Call trigger number has been updated from +1 (888) 541-7792 to +1 (855) 677-9994
Bug Fixes
