New Features and Enhancements

AuthX Core

  1. AuthX Installation Report

    • Introduced the AuthX Installation Report to monitor and view application installation details in the AuthX portal.

    • Workstations are marked as inactive after 30 days of no login activity and automatically deleted after 60 days of inactivity.

  2. Clone Support

    • Security Policies, Security Rules, Authentication Workflows, Network Profiles, and Applications can be cloned to create and modify copies of existing configurations.

      Note

For endpoint applications, AutoConfig is disabled by default in cloned applications, and the system validates application names to prevent duplicates.

  3. Password Synchronization from SSPR Portal to AuthX Vault

Added an “Auto Save to Credential Vault” checkbox to LDAP application settings. When enabled, any password change or reset in the SSPR portal is automatically saved in the vault.

  4. Device Activity Logs with Advanced Filters

    • Introduced the DAM Device Activity Log report with an accordion-based view and advanced filters (UPN, Device Serial Number, Host Machine, Activity, and Date Range) to help admins efficiently track device usage, user activity, and check-in/check-out events.

  5. Connection Profile Enhancement

    • Enhanced AVD connection profile configuration by updating Name and Instance Name as mandatory fields and adding new credential type options, including Admin Set Credentials and Authenticated User, for improved authentication and access management.

    • Added “Username Format” options for Domain Credentials. When Admin Set Credentials is selected, the “Admin Credential Profile” dropdown is displayed, allowing administrators to select a credential profile from the available list.

  6. Application View, Sort, and Filter Enhancements

Users can now switch between Grid and List views and sort applications by A–Z or Recently Used across all modules in the AuthX User portal. A Filter option is also available for Web Applications.

  7. Transaction Logs for Credential Autofill and Browser Plugin Logging

The system now captures transaction logs for credential autofill and browser AuthX Vault activities, including application, user, device, timestamp, status (success or failure), and relevant error details. Application-specific logs are also recorded when users save credentials.

  8. Continuous Authentication Bypass for SAML IdP Flows

When applications are launched from the User portal, continuous authentication is now bypassed for SAML IdP flows, allowing users to access SAML applications without reauthentication when the Windows Agent is unavailable on the system.

  9. Deprecation of app.authx.com References

Deprecated app.authx.com by removing legacy URL references and related configurations across the portal.

  10. UPN Validation Enhancement for In-Cloud Users

The system now allows the hyphen (-) character in the User Principal Name (UPN) field when creating in-cloud users, aligning UPN validation with the existing rules for Username and Email fields.

  11. Filtered EPCS Audit Logs

Updated the EPCS Audit Log report to display only audit entries generated from the EPCS Admin Portal, excluding general Admin Portal logs for focused auditing.

Identity Administration

  1. SCIM UPN and Attribute Mapping Support

Added support for UPN-based synchronization in SCIM user provisioning mappings and enhanced mapping configuration to allow the same target attribute value to be assigned to multiple AuthX attributes.

Mobile Device Access Management (AuthX DAM)

  1. DAM Check-in/Check-out Instruction Configuration (DAM build 26.6.8.1 and above)

    • Added a configurable Check-in / Check-out Instructions field under DAM Advanced Configuration, allowing admins to define and manage instruction text displayed on the DAM PC screen.

    • Users can see the Check-In and Check-Out instructions on the DAM PC screen.

Endpoint Access Security (AuthX Secure)

  1. KSI Smart Lock Keyboard Detection Option

Added the “Disable Keyboard Lock until device is detected” checkbox under Advanced Configuration > KSI Presence-Based Smart Lock Configuration. This option ensures that the KSI lock is activated only when a KSI keyboard is detected. The checkbox is displayed only when “Lock the screen when Keyboard/Presence Lock disconnected” is enabled.

  2. UAC Application Support for Windows Run as Admin

Added the “User Account Control” dropdown to the Additional Features settings. This option allows administrators to select the application that determines the workflow or policy enforced during the Run as Admin authentication flow. The dropdown is available only when “Windows Admin Run as Prompt” is enabled.

Access and Credential Management (AuthX Vault)

  1. Credential Profile Audit Logging and History Tracking

Added support for logging credential profile lifecycle events and maintaining credential profile history records.

  2. Application-Specific Credential Profile Support

Enhanced the AuthX Vault to support application-specific credential profiles, enabling automatic login with saved credentials, selection of existing profiles, or manual credential entry and save for future logins. If saved credentials fail, users can select another profile or log in manually. Existing domain-set and admin-set credential flows remain unchanged.

Bug Fixes

  1. User and Group Deletion Sync for SCIM-supported applications

    • Enhanced SCIM synchronization to automatically remove users and groups from the SCIM-supported applications when synchronized users or groups are deleted from the AuthX Admin portal, ensuring memberships and access remain consistent across integrated systems.

    • Enhanced SCIM Synchronization to support delta updates for synced users, ensuring user changes in AD are automatically updated in AuthX via SCIM through delta job/full sync.
