# Activate Your User Account

Let's get started with your AuthX journey!

### Overview

Once the Admin has created your profile in the AuthX Portal, you can follow the steps below to activate your AuthX User Portal.

### Configuration Steps

  1. For **Scan QR Code**:
    1. To use this feature, download and setup the AuthX app from the [App Store (iOS)](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/authx/id1434071312) or [Play Store (Android)](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.authx.security&hl=en_IN&gl=US), then scan the **QR C****ode** in the app following the activation steps. ![](https://cdn.document360.io/ff6b0d12-ffa4-4d40-b8c9-0ed75ec11cce/Images/Documentation/Screenshot%202025-02-18%20133344(4).png)

  2. For **Using OTP**:
    1. If you prefer not to download an app, you can choose the **Using OTP** option and receive a One-Time Passcode on your registered phone number.     3. Once you enter the **OTP**, your profile is set up in the **AuthX Portal**.

5. Click on **Login** **Now** to be directed to the login page, then follow the [User Login Process](/v1/docs/user-login-process) steps from **Step** **2**. For future logins, follow the User Login Process steps to access your Dashboard.
